In the event of a weather emergency that could bring the need for information regarding school closures, delayed starts or early releases, the Wayne County School District will notify the public through 3 outlets. 

Parents/Guardians will be notified through ParentSquare via SMS/Text Messaging as well as email. 
Emergency Notifications will be present on the WCSD website at www.wcsdms.com. 
WCSD will post all emergency notifications and updates on its Facebook page.
