Clara School recently held its annual Spring Book Fair. Students who shopped at
the fair during the family night had the opportunity to enter a raffle for free books.

Each year, children and teens of Mississippi vote for their favorite books in four age categories: PreK-2nd, 3rd-5th, 6th-8th, and 9th-12th.
Students at Clara School read a selection of the nominated books and voted on their favorite they felt deserved the honor of the MS Magnolia Book Award for their age-specific category.
Participants this year were Easton Mason, Katie Gatlin, Kadey McCaa, Dallis Turner, Kadie Davis, Gabbie Phillips, Veronica Bragg, Rayne Albritton, Skyanni Boshell, Emily Brewer, Justice Jordan, Kynslee Pittman, and K Jireon Williamson.

Parents and Students visited the Nation's Capital and took part in a ceremony at Arlington Cemetery. Students presented a wreath to the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Visited the home of George Washington, and explored the many monuments and Smithsonians.
